Context
A new feature that allows an owner-operator to chain loads together.
After J.B. Hunt has acquired freight from their customers, Owner Operators can find, book, and move the load to get paid using Carrier 360, a mobile and web application. Our goal and the user's goal is to keep those drivers moving allowing them to make more money.
Problem Statement
Currently the J.B. Hunt load board only supports Loads (a type of job that requires an item to be move from one place to another). It has been identified that certain Ower Operators put consecutive loads together to allow their workday to go from one point to the next with as little as possible dead head miles as possible. The process of chaining loads together is what we call a Tour.
Objective and Goals
Carrier360 users on the web and mobile should be able to easily determine which of their JBT power-only loads still need equipment plans on the front or back end, and which are in good shape.
Give clear visibility and guidelines to how to plan and execute the empty trailer moves.

Problems
Since our users were busy and didn't trust our brand it was hard to get user testing.
The involvement of too many people in the initial stages extended the lenget of getting the solution across the finish line.
